Maggie Jimenez studios
Sunday, May 17, 2009 - Leonardo da Vinci School 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students worked with artist Maggie Jimenez throughout the 2008-2009 school year to create papier mache artwork. Art classes tied into the students ongoing study of the world of bugs which informed and inspired their creation of three-dimensional sculptures of bees, flies, lady beetles, and butterflies.
Maggie hosted an art show and reception featuring the students' artwork at her studio where the artists and their parents came to enjoy the display.
