Lenaea Festival

The Lenaea Festival is a three day event where high school students from throughout the state present their one-act plays, monologues, scenes, musical theatre solos, workshops, and special presentations in competition. The Lenaea Festival takes place each year at California State University Sacramento. The Festival also provides on-going educational outreach, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Each year since 2004, VSA arts of California at Sacramento (VSAS) students from the CSUS Community Transition Program students have performed Hip Hop dances as the spotlight act of the Festival's Opening Ceremonies.
